When Deb and I started the studio over 25 years ago, our dream was simple. We hoped a few people would enjoy and purchase our sculptures. The following year, I was afraid that everyone who liked our images had already purchased one the previous year. To our surprise, these little sculptures were perfect gift items. Designs were available to fit any personality or passion, like bird watching, cooking, gardening, bereavement, holidays, weddings, anniversaries, teachers, births, retirement & more.
The relatively small size and durability allows display indoors or out, so finding an area to display is easy. Add character to patios, children's rooms, sunrooms, and desktops or simply in the flowerbed.
During our "signing" days, I'm always amazed to hear that the pieces I'm signing are being sent all over the country. Toledo area customers are proud to share art that is hand made in their backyard. Other customers enjoy taking handmade American products as gifts abroad. The children's books lightness and the classic hand carved stone look seem to touch the hearts and imaginations of people looking for that "perfect" gift.
